Since 2009, she's appeared as a Shark or an investor in Shark Tank on ABC's business reality show Shark Tank. While in college she was fascinated by creating and selling customized jewelry. When the idea for a plastic organizer came to her, she demonstrated the product to women on the streets, to gauge their reactions. Eventually, she patent the product and started selling it through various channels online and offline. She added more items. So far, she has created and promoted over 1,000 successful items and has 120 US and International patents. The sharpness of her business sense allows her to know in an instant whether products have the potential to be "a heroes" and if it is not. As a result, 90% of products she sells are successful. Being of the belief that if a person is lucky to be successful it is imperative to take action to help others, she donates annual donations to charities of all kinds.
